The race committee promotes the hobby of sail racing within the club and, at its discretion, also outside of it. It organizes all the club’s races, acquires prizes, and plans and develops different track options and opportunities.
After the end of the season, the race committee chooses the club sailor of the year.
The race committee is responsible for maintaining the functionality of the sail drying facility. In addition to this, it is responsible for the gazebo in Pyysaari, the race equipment storage and the office space in the upstairs of the restaurant building.
